Painter (including gouache), collage artist, engraver, illustrator.

Marcel Dumont won a Young Art prize in 1946. He has illustrated books by Stefan Zweig and Pierre Louys. He is sometimes described as a Realist, sometimes as an abstract painter, and parallels have been drawn between his work and Pop Art.
